“My name is Marc and I have been working at Bakker Oilfield Supply since February 2014. I started my career in the Logistics department, and in May 2019 I made the switch to the Sales department, where I now work with great enthusiasm as Sales and Rentals Support.
In my position, I deal with various tasks, such as renting equipment, taking maintenance orders from third parties, and selling equipment and spare parts. My work day usually starts around 7 a.m. with a cup of coffee while I review incoming emails for new rental, maintenance or sales requests. I do my best to provide our customers with an appropriate offer as quickly as possible. During the day, many requests come in and I make sure each one is carefully reviewed and processed. Upon an accepted offer, I convert it into an order and create a pick list for our logistics department. Together we make sure that everything is ready for shipment or collection on time. I also oversee the return process of rental items; after the logistics department processes them, I check the data and take care of invoicing, which I then forward to our finance department. Thus, I am involved in the entire rental process.
What makes my work at BOS so fascinating is the constant variety and the pleasant working atmosphere. I work with great colleagues and appreciate the activities organized by our staff association. I am proud to be part of the team!”
