IT & Payroll Officer

“My name is Marije, and I joined Bakker Flow Services in January 2020 as a receptionist, where I also performed financial tasks. My role quickly expanded, and in 2021, I was asked to provide support to the IT department.

Since 2022, I have also been involved in payroll administration, which ultimately led to my current position as IT & Payroll Officer.

My background is in the hospitality industry. After completing an MBO degree in Facility Services and a chef training program, I continued my studies at the University of Applied Sciences in International Hospitality Management.


In 2022, I completed the Practical Diploma in Payroll Administration to further deepen my knowledge in the field of payroll administration. 


What makes my work so fascinating is the variety of my tasks. From checking and processing hours for payroll administration to managing systems and providing IT support. I usually start my day with a cup of tea and checking my mailbox, followed by making a to-do list for the rest of the day. Throughout the day, I regularly consult with my managers and colleagues about new developments and projects.


What I like so much about working at Bakker Flow Services is the warm and friendly working atmosphere. Everyone is willing to help each other to achieve the best results. What’s more, you get the opportunity to grow and develop yourself further.”
